Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indian Citizen and a woman.
- You can apply this ICDS Recruitment 2024 West Bengal only if your age is between 18 to 35 years.
- According to the new regulation by the central government, candidates applying for the post of Anganwadi worker or helper must have passed at least the higher secondary examination. It could also be an equivalent examination. This must be from a recognized school.
- In addition to educational qualifications, candidates must have basic knowledge in certain subjects. These subjects include the rural social system, local administration, and basic education.
Recruitment Process
- Total Marks in the examination is 100. The written exam has 90 marks and 10 for Interview. Written Tests will be 2 Hrs long. For people who using Scribblers will be given 40 minutes extra.
- The recruitment of Anganwadi workers and helpers is primarily conducted through a written test and an interview. Candidates first need to take a 90-mark written test. Only those who pass the written test are eligible for the interview. The written exam includes essay writing and multiple-choice questions on subjects such as English, Arithmetic, Nutrition and Public Health, the Position of Women, State Nutrition Policy, Immunization, Safe Cooking Practices, and General Knowledge.
- Candidates who do not score at least 30 marks in the written test will not be eligible for the oral test. If a candidate passes the written test but is absent from the oral test, they will be deemed ineligible. There are no minimum qualifying marks required for the oral examination.

Expected Salary
- The starting salary of Anganwadi Worker ( AWW ) is Honorary Allowance of Rs. 4500/- per month and the Additional Honorary Allowance is Rs. 4500/- per month.
